UA Quest for Mature Nation Statehood Roundtable XVIII: Ukraine and Social Cohesion took place on October 12th, 2017 in Washington, D.C. It was the last in a new and vital trio of forums—a set of discussions dedicated to exploring Ukraine’s ethnic, religious and social cohesiveness. The gathering brought together key representatives of several eminent policy shaping think tanks in the US with key representatives of the Ukrainian Government, civil society and academia to assess the level of social cleavage/cohesion in Ukraine with regard to matters of class, regional loyalty, linguistic-cultural mindset and gender.
