The US-UA Leadership Summit
The US-UA Leadership Summit is intended as a high powered NGO supplement to the government to government discussions that are scheduled to take place periodically under the agreements reached thru the 'Charter on a Strategic Partnership'—signed by the US and Ukrainian foreign affairs establishments in December 2008 and reconfirmed during UA MFA Poroshenko's visit with Secretary of State Hilary Clinton in November 2009. |

US-UA WG Inaugural Dinner took place in June 22, 2010 in Washington DC. CUSUR and AFPC invited three leading voices of the political opposition in Ukraine (as well as members of the US-UA WG) to provide a current picture of Ukraine's quest for mature nation statehood, or more precisely, the nation's present disposition toward someday becoming a paid up member of the Euro-Atlantic community. UA Euro-Atlantic Future Forum V is now scheduled to be held on September 13-14, 2010 in Dnipropetrovsk, Ukraine. The event will bring the 'UA Euro-Atlantic Future' Forum Series to the southern oblasts of Ukraine for the first time. A preliminary program is now available. US-UA Business Networking Series Forum VI has been scheduled for November 17, 2010 in New York City. The conference will be a throwback to the inaugural event of the UBN Series, using a mix of formal plenary sessions featuring addresses/remarks by major business and government players and more informal breakout sessions providing for discussion/match-ups between US and Ukrainian actors in particular industrial sectors.
