UA Historical Encounters-Taking Measure of the Holodomor
A Special UA Historical Encounters Series Event took place in NYC on November 5-6, 2013. The two day long conference,entitled: Taking Measure of theHolodomor, was held at three different venues: the PrincetonUniversity Club, the Ukrainian. Museum and the Ukrainian Institute of America. Nearly 60 presenters, all well regarded either in the field of Holodomor Studies or Genocide Studies, took on the task of providing answers to the basic questions concerning the great Ukrainian Famine-Genocide of 1932-1933: why? how? where? who carried out, who suffered? how many suffered? etc.
