Roundtable VIII: Ukraine-European Union Relations, took place on Oct 16 and 17, 2007 in Washington, D.C. The conference heard nearly seventy government and non-government speakers, a veritable Who's Who of policy shapers and policy makers with a deep and thorough knowledge of Ukraine's links to the EU, examine and evaluate Ukraine's capacity to "thrive alongside" its great Western neighbor as well as its readiness, if asked to join, to eventually "thrive inside" it.
