Ukraine's Transition to an Established National Identity |
Roundtable VI: Ukraine's Transition to an Established National Identity was held on September 27 and 28, 2005 in Washington, D.C. The conference brought together government and key non-government representatives of Ukraine, the United States and Ukraine's several neighbors as well as experts from academia to evaluate Ukraine's ability to develop a "firm center of gravity as a nation/state" and to define a "distinct sense of place in global affairs", particularly in the aftermath of its historically significant performance during the "Orange Revolution". |
